What is H2yOga?
Developed by Certified Yoga Instructor, Sue Gisser, H2yOga is a unique brand of water yoga that combines dynamic flows, water weights and traditional yoga poses to create a virtually, gravity-free workout unlike anything else!


We offer a wide variety of classes to include every interest and skill level: Flows Afloat, Detox Aloft, Buoyant Bottoms, Power H2yOga and Rockabye H2yOga.

Pre-Natal Water Yoga
H2yOga is thrilled to announce that due to popular demand we now offer Pregnancy-Safe Water Yoga Classes!
These classes are held on Tuesdays at 8am and Wednesdays at 9am. Comprised of Standing Poses, Wall Work and Breathing Exercises, these classes are restorative in style and wonderful whether or not you're expecting!

Q: CAN I DO H2Y0GA IF I DON'T KNOW HOW TO SWIM?
A: YES! The pool is only 4 1/2 feet deep and we use floatation devices--similar to the "swimmies" you used as a kid! I actually have several clients who don't know how to swim and they LOVE H2yOga! However, if you want to learn how to swim, the LKSA offers wonderful swim lessons for both children and for adults!

Q: IS H2Y0GA OKAY TO DO WHEN YOU'RE PREGNANT?
A: No. Although water exercise is often recommended for pregnant women, our regular H2yOga classes require a lot of work of your stabilizer muscles and are therefore not appropriate for pregnant women.
However, H2yOga is thrilled to announce that due to popular demand, beginning June 2013, we will offer Pregnancy-Safe Water Yoga Classes!
These classes will be held on Wednesdays at 9am.Comprised of Standing Poses, Wall Work and Breathing Exercises, these classes are restorative in style and wonderful whether or not you're expecting!
Q: WHICH H2YOGA CLASS SHOULD I TAKE FIRST?
A: Whether you've taken lots of yoga or it's your first time, I always recommend "Flows Afloat" as your first class. "Flows Afloat" is the gentlest, and most organic in progression from pose-to-pose of all the classes I teach. It's the perfect place to develp your H2yOga vocabulary. Once you've taken a "Flows Afloat" class, you'll be able to easily transition into one of the more fast paced classes. That being said, based on your particular interests and athletic level, you are welcome to take any H2yOga class as your first class, EXCEPT for the "Rockabye H2yOga" class. The "Rockabye H2yOga" class is the most advanced H2yOga class. We dive in immediately to an intense series of exercises and there is an entire secondary set of vocabulary in this very fast paced class. For these reasons, in order to be safe, it is inappropriate for a first class. However, "Rockabye H2yOga" does make a fun and rewarding second or third class!
